Neglected You ! Sorry

I haven't posted any new poetry for a bit because I have been very busy. Not

just with my poetry ventures, I've started writing short romance errtica....of

which I will start to post here.... Well worth the wait....great read....very

sensual writing.....am enjoying the adventure myself. All is inspired by the new

love in my life, and from one that still clams part of my heart, always will.
I hope you will enjoy the first I will be posting soon....Hugs to All,Alexa

The Lonely Night
© Alexandra Charlis Carpenter

The night seems so lonely without you
I have not felt your lips upon mine
I can not feel your breath upon my neck
Nor taste your tongue with mine intertwined

Your caress I have come to treasure
Your hand dancing lightly across my chest
Your soft moans in my ear, our pleasures
Intertwined, I love us so near

Those moments afterward we share
Lying in the warmth of two souls come
Together becoming one, me curling into you
Drifting to sleep as we bask in the glow

The night seems so empty as I sit here
In the dark night without you alone

One Heart, One Soul, One Goal

Each day I try to do my part
to bring comfort, and joy to one heart

Each day I try to wipe just one tear,
make someone smile, to laugh,
 to touch a soul

Each day to live my life with compassion,
and with passion, it is my daily goal

This is how I try to live each day, isn’t this the
 Creator’s way?
